    Hi there

    did everything above but all im getting is a black screen now. i must of did something wrong where should the C:\wallpaper file be located i know this sounds like a stupid question but i put the C:\wallpaper in the first directory in c:\ and as i said earlier im getting nothing but black screen. now i would rather have the old wallpaper than a black screen.

    any help would be great

    Paul,

    To restore to default wallpaper:
    1.Open Registry Editor
    2.Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
    3.Right-click Desktop then click advanced then check the check box of “Include inheritable” ,then click OK twice,then reboot. (See screenshot above in step 6)

    I obey your instruction but i can’t change the wallpaper.After restarting the system none of wall_paper is displayed.
