Why there is no Customize tab / options in folder’s Properties in windows 7

August 12th, 2011

If you can not find Custmize tab in your folder’s Properties, the most probability is that that you are in “Documents Library” view, rather than the actual “Folder Location” view.

The solution is very simple, just right-click this folder and click Open folder location

Now,you are in the actual  “Folder Location”,right click this folder again and select Properties, you will see Customize tab there.

Now you can Customize Folder Options ,such as change folder icons.
