Open an Elevated Command Prompt in windows 7

The difference between Elevated Command Prompt and normall Command prompt is an Elevated Command Prompt  has administrator rights.Below is the screenshot of an elevated command prompt(left) and command prompt(right),you can find that Title of elevated command prompt has Administrator included,and is opened to C:\Windows\system32

 

How to open and Elevated Command Prompt  in windows 7

 

Method 1

Go to StartAll Programs — Accessories, then right click Command Prompt and click on Run as administrator,clickYes or type in username and password of the administrator account

 

Method 2:

Click Start ,then type in cmd in the search box ,then

a) right click cmd and click on Run as administrator

OR

 b)press Ctrl+Shift+Enter ,

if prompt by UAC,clickYes or type in username and password of the administrator account
