    checksum failed

  4. kaygee says:

Incorrect checksum here too.. Could it have something to do with having a Service Pack installed, i.e. differing versions of termsrv.dll

  5. GWWin7-64bit says:

Will this work with Win7-32bit or Win7-64bit? I have Win7-64bit and I get error “Unknown Checksum..”

To everyone who keeps getting “Error: Unknown Checksum… Exiting” There is a way around it.

    1. Right ckick on install.cmd and select edit.
    2. Scroll down to the :CHECK lable or just search for it (ctrl-f).
    3. Delete everything between :CHECK and :P ATCH.
    4. File->Save As… call the file whatever you want but make sure it ends in .cmd
    5. Run the new file as an administrator as above and enjoy!

    —WARNING!—
This method completley skips the cheksums all together. I can not garentee the sucess of this method and, of course, am not responsible if something goes wrong and your system dies.

  12. joe says:

when i download the first step, install is missing install.cmd and i guess that is why i cant go further. what should i do?

It seems to work however, I cannot see the active remote screen but a new screen. It looks like my RDP is starting another session just like another user would log in. So, in a way it works because I can access the remote desktop but I cannot see the active screen that may be managed by remote user.I hope that this makes sense.
    Thanks for your patch.
