First,open Control Panel from Start menu–>Click Clock,Language,and Region option–>Click “Change display language”below the Region and language option

then,in this screen click “Install/Uninstall languages”–>”Install display languages”–>”Launch Windows Update”

Now,you can select to install your prefer language package in following:

After install the language package,go to the second screenshot and select your language in “Choose a display language” drop-down box.

In Advanced tab,click on settings button.

Select Advanced tab,click on change button.

Uncheck “Automatically manage paging file size for all drives”,select an drive and choose “custom size” to set virtual memory,at last click on Set.

Click on Apply,and you’ll be asked to enter the user password.

OEM: Original Equipment Manufacturer

OEM:SLP – (System Locked Pre-installation) These keys are preinstalled by the OEM. Data embedded in the BIOS (SLIC), is used to validate the key. SLP keys will work with any OEM SLP system, regardless of the OEM system’s brand. This are the only keys that are able to bypass activation that is, perform offline activation without contacting Microsoft.OEM:NONSLP - (Non System Locked Pre-installation) Similar to Retail, but distributed and supported by an OEM. Needs activation by phone or online.

OEM:COA - (Certificate of Authentication) The OEM:COA (for Vista that comes with a OEM:SLP key pre-installed by OEM) key would be required if a reinstallation is needed, the COA should be affixed to the body of the computer. Needs activation by phone or online.

Volume License Key (VLK) is a term used by some computer software companies to denote the product key used when installing software licensed under volume licensing, which allows a single product key to be used for multiple installations.For this kind of key,activation will be done via KLM server.

VLK:MAK - Multiple Activation Key

Ok,if you want to know what kind of key you own,you can use the Microsoft Pid Check to check.

1.Open regedit.exe from the start menu or the Run prompt

2.Go to the following path in your registry editor

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shell

3.Right-click on “shell” from the left window  to create a new key, naming it to “Open with Notepad”. Then create a new key under “Open with Notepad” named “command”. Double-click on the (Default) value in the right-hand panel and enter in the following value:

notepad.exe %1

4.Done.Now you can see “Open with Notepad” in the menu after you right clicking to unknown files.Good lucks.

1.Pin any item to taskbar as a fake,there we pin WMP(Windows Media Player) to tarbar as an example

2.Hold the  shift key then  right click the icon we pinned to the taskbar earlier, then choose Properties.

3.Go to the Shortcut tab,input the folder name which you want to pin to taskbar in the Target field and clean the Start in field,then click  OK.Now you can click this icon in the taskbar to access your folder(Here we use folder D:\Windows7 as an example)

4.Go to the General tab the change the Title of this folder

5.Change the icon for this shortcut by click the Change Icon… button. You can navigate to the following directory and choose an icon you like:

Also we can use junction.exe or linkd.exe to create symbolic link in windows 7,you can  try them after put them to C:\windows\system32  if you have the interest.

Then,in the list of Windows features, click the plus sign (+) next to Internet Information Services, click the plus sign (+) next to World Wide Web Services, click the plus sign (+) next to Application Development Features, select the dynamic content features you want to install, and then click OK.

1.First go to %SystemRoot%\Globalization\ ,normally it’s C:\Windows\Globalization,then change your folder options to show hidden files and show protected systems files

2.Now you can see folder MCT under C:\Windows\Globalization,enter this folder,you can find 6 foders include 6 country’s themes.They are themes for China,Ameria,Canada,England,Australia,South Africa.

3.There is an sub-directory named Theme under each foders,enter there and double-click the *.theme to install it as one of you themes.

To show or hide the Recycle Bin on the desktop

1. Click the Start button , type desktop icons into the search box, and then click Show or hide common icons on the desktop.

2.In the Desktop Icon Settings dialog box, do one of the following:

• To hide the Recycle Bin, clear the Recycle Bin check box.

• To show the Recycle Bin, select the Recycle Bin check box.
