If you never used Windows 7 or Windows Vista,you may want to enable quick lanuch toolbar on Windows 7.Below will give you the instruction step by step to enable and customize quick lanuch toolbar on Windows 7.
1. Right-click the empty space on the Windows 7 taskbar then select Toolbars > New Toolbar.

2.Enter the following path:
%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch
3. Click on Select Folder
4.Now you should see the quick launch toolbar on the right of your taskbar.

5.To customize your quick launch toolbar,right-click the Windows 7 Taskbar again and
unselect Lock the taskbar
6.Now you can drag and drop your quick lauch toolbar to the place you want

Note: you can customize your quick launch toolbar’s appearance by right-click launch toolbar,see image bellow.

Is there a way to get the quicklaunch to stack horizontally underneath the regular toolbar, as opposed to left and right?
