Hi I created a mklink junction between C:\My Documents and D:\My Documents as my C: drive is running out of space. But when I add files in to D:\My Documnets the size of free space in C: also goes down is this normal or have I done something wrong
These are the cmd’s I ran
1. robocopy “C:\My Documents” “D:\My Documents” /E /COPYALL /XJ
2. rmdir “C:\My Documents” /S /Q
3. mklink /J “C:\My Documents” “D:\My Documents”

The task scheduler method works flawlessly – I did check the box to “run with highest privledges”

Decided not to alter registry settings. Seems to be some confusion regarding this. However would still like to remove arrows from desktop shortcuts. May not be worth the stress and anxiety involved.

Hello, to all the folks above, yes, Win7 Home does allow hosting RDCs. For home netwokrs, you will prob have to use the IP addr of the box i/o the DNS name, but it works.

My problem is that alrhough I can RDC Win7Ultimate–>Win7Home, I can’t Win7Home–>Win7Ultimate; any suggestions? I keep getting that annoying NetBIOS error 4321 in my Event Viewer on Win7Home when attempting. Thank you!
