Change network location in windows 7

In windows 7 ,change network location can automatically sets the appropriate firewall and security settings.If you connect to networks in different locations (for example, a network at your home, at a local coffee shop, or at work), choosing a network location can help ensure that your computer is always set to an appropriate security level.

1.Launch Control Panel (Small icons view)

2.Click Network and Sharing Center (See below screenshot)

3.In the right pane,under View your active networks ,you can see which network location type is select currently

4.Click the current location type ,in the new window change your network location to Home network or Work network or Public network

Tip:If you never or seldom need to share folders or printers in windows 7 with other computer,you can select Treat all future network as public
