3 ways to open local security policy editor in windows 7

    To open local security policy editor in windows 7,pls make sure you have the administrator privilege .If not please  enable administrator account and add you to group administrators.Also please be noted that  local security policy editor only is available in Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate, and Enterpise .

Method One:

           Click  the Start menu, and type secpol.msc in the search field and press Enter ,then local security policy editor window will be bringed up.

Method Two:

    Go to Start — Control Panel ,then double click Administrative tools ,then double click local security policy



Method Three:

          You also can open local security policy editor through  Local Group Policy Editor  , Go to Computer Configuration then click  Windows Settings then Security Settings  ,please see screenshot below.
